The Element Optics Helix 4-16x44 FFP with APR-2D MOA Reticle and 30mm tube riflescope is engineered to give shooters a lighter and more-streamlined alternative to the other scopes in Element's lineup without losing durability or features. The optics package utilizes fully multicoated glass to deliver sharp views, and the scope has been designed to provide excellent performance with an improved depth of field.
The scope uses a 44mm objective lens and a 30mm tube constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, and the turrets have stainless steel internal components for added reliability when compared to lesser scopes that use brass or other metals that wear out more quickly. The turrets have a hard mechanical zero-stop, are tool-free and resettable, and offer a windage range of 45 MOA and an elevation range of 80 MOA, both with 1/4 MOA clicks and 15 MOA revolutions.
This scope features lenses that are waterproof, shockproof, fogproof, and nitrogen purged so they yield a crisp sight picture under a wide array of weather and lighting conditions. The features also include a side-focus with parallax-free operation from 15 yards to infinity, a removable magnification throw lever, and 3.7 inches of eye relief.
The APR MRAD all-purpose reticle was designed by professional shooters and incorporates feedback from users, and the result is an incredibly-versatile reticle that enables all types of shooting, from short-range to long-range, and from slow planning to fast reaction shots. The first focal plane (FFP) reticle uses a Christmas tree pattern of holdover dots on the bottom half to facilitate long-range accuracy, and it also has an abundance of lines and dots with differing spacing, as well as a fine center dot.
