Byrna took the best features from our popular Byrna SD and LE models and engineered them into a sleek, ultra-concealable form factor—38% smaller than the SD and 44% smaller than the LE—without sacrificing power.

The Byrna CL fires a brand-new .61 caliber projectile at a staggering 400 feet per second, delivering 40% more power than the SD—and matching the performance of the much larger LE. It uses the same 8g CO₂ cartridge and our patented pull-pierce technology, meaning your cartridge stays unpierced until the moment you pull the trigger.

With up to 15 rounds of effective range at 60 feet, the CL is equipped with upgraded fiber optic sights and a red-dot-ready top slide using the industry-standard mounting pattern. Just remove the cover plate and add Byrna’s Red Dot Pro—or any optic of your choice—for lightning-fast target acquisition.

We didn’t stop there. The CL still features a loaded chamber indicator, under-barrel Picatinny rail, and a design that’s shorter than most smartphones and as slim as a USB flash drive.
